From 02 to 15 October Gallery Art School of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos held ASTRONOMIARTE exposure.
To mark the 400 years that Galileo Galilei built a telescope to the sky in defiance of Aristotle's ideas, then dominant, and thereby changed the destiny of humanity, the International Astronomical Union Is celebrating the International Year of Astronomy with support from UNESCO.
The San Marcos is a leader in the development of this science, Dr. Maria Luisa Aguilar professor at the School of Physics is the representative of SPOC - PERU / IYA. PAD Gallery Art and join in this celebration is to raise awareness of this science which has always attracted the interest of artists.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. in the School of Art Gallery (Ciudad Universitaria) Av Universitaria s / n Lima 1. Free admission.
ON OPENING
a tribute to Galileo Galilei telescope will show a in the gardens of the Faculty of Letters. Audiovisual material is also proposed.
